Strawberry moon stuns as gentle reminder of universal bigger things

Wednesday’s full moon in Australia was a beauty … but for most of us it just looked like any other – here are some of the best ‘strawberry moon’ pictures from the northern hemisphere

Moongazers around the world were treated to a celestial show last night as the much-hyped “strawberry moon” delivered some special images in the northern hemisphere.

Australia’s full moon on Wednesday night was still a stunner but our next “blood moon” which is actually a lunar eclipse – won’t happen again until September.

In the meantime, here are some of our favourite images enjoyed around the globe.
