Take the Quiz Word test and see if you can beat the clock — and your classmates

Do you love games? Do you love words? Then we have the perfect puzzle for you.

Kids News has launched a new game called Quiz Word.

It’s great for learning but it’s also great fun for you and your classmates.

We have already added puzzles with themes such as marine life, space, geography and the human body.

Teachers can make their own puzzles to match topics the class is studying.

Kids can tackle the puzzles solo, with multi-players or competing against the whole class!

But you have to beat the clock.

You only have five or 10 minutes to complete the questions.

Playing Quiz Word is simple. Select a hint and the answer’s location will highlight on the board. Type in the answer using your computer or tablet keyboard. If you get it right, the word will flash yellow and remain highlighted. The clue will also be crossed out as completed.

Get it wrong and the word will grey out.

But a warning ... it’s not as easy as you think.
